Undersharker: the soul reaper

Adjusting our direction, we decided to shift back to our iconic Kaiju-Shark approach for Apex Sharks whiel keeping the movement based ability scope throughout the design. Meet Undersharker, an underwater menace, here to snatch the souls of every living creature under the surface.

Clowncy: the Clown Shark

Following thru with movement based abilities, we have decided to bring forth a more goofy sensation to our next shark. Meet Clowncys a bouncy shark designed for chaotic movement based gameplay, received positively by our community.

Francis: Spirit Manta Ray

Following along the directive line of designing movement base abilities, Idecided to explore more spiritual concepts for Hungry Shark World since it was already quite full with epic and aggressive-looking visuals. Francis was also part of our team's contribution to the Green Game Jam.

Quantum: the Cyber Shark

After the succesful reception of the Planet Killer Shark, it was established that future character design from now on would introduce new and fresh movement based abilities, allowing endgame players to find a shark that fits their personal playstyle better. As a result, Quantum was a born, an experiments from the antogonist of the franchis turned rogue .

M.Matriarch: The Planet Killer

As my first own design, I decided to save on art assets and upgrade and already existing model, resulting in Mighty Matriarch, the Apex version of Big Momma, an already existing Shark. Designed for players that have reached the endgame, the release of the Planet Killer was a pivotal point for the Design Direction of HSW

Gaia: Mother of all Sharks

After picking up the task of working for Hungry Shark World, I started designing my first shark with the help of the dev team, it lead us to creating Gaia: The mother of all sharks, a powerfull character that was received by the community with open arms. You'll be able to find the release trailer for that content as well as its Game Design Document below.

Boss: Mecha Claus

After our community has expressed their wish of seeing a new unique boss fight in HSW, I took on the amazing challenge of designing a new Boss Fight. Fromt there, I came up with Mecha Claus, a santa-themed boss we could re-use cyclically during Xmas time. An absolute blast to design and implement!

Eco Warrior Challenge

With Hungry Shark World thriving in 2024, I designed an adapted version of the popularized Survival Game Mode genre. This new game mode was our contribution to the 2024 Green Game Jam and showcased a new plant growing mechanic, paired with some ramping difficulty, and rewarded with a sweet new gadget.

Ray's Revenge

After the succes of our first rescue game mode, we decided to capitalize on it and developed a re-vamped and re-skined version of our Protect Baby Shark event as part of our contribution for hte 2023 Green Game Jam. Ray's Revenge follows the same principles as PBS, but provides more freedom.

Protect Baby Shark

As part of our double release in November 2022, we also released the "Protect Baby Shark" Game Mode in order to showcase our newest Shark, Gaia. This small gameloop, playable within the core gameloop of Hungry Shark World, consists in finding, rescuing and escorting Baby Sharks
